MOUNTAINS OF THE MOON HOTEL
The hotel is located in Fort Portal and lies on 15 acres of landscaped gardens which provides wonderful views of the Rwenzori Mountains. It is located within walking distance of Fort Portal town and is an ideal base for tourists visiting Kibale Forest National Park, Semliki Game Reserve and Semliki National Park, and Mountain Rwenzori National park.
Accommodation
The hotel has four major types of the rooms that is to say,

• Standard Rooms
  these have minimal beds in wood, sleek storage y in the form of wall to wall cupboards, enormous mirror, stone tiled floors, white linen and wall reading lights, Internet access, a balcony facing the green gardens and DTSV television access. Rooms are fitted with showers and a large King Size or Queen Size bed.
• Deluxe rooms
  All these rooms are either King or twin bedded with a shower, internet access, television and full time DSTV, direct dial telephone and a large terrace or balcony facing the leafy main gardens or the back yard gardens.
• Superior rooms
  Each room has an elaborate terrace or balcony either facing the main gardens or the leafy back yard. All rooms have a King Size bed and bathroom with oversize long bathtubs. Internet access, direct dial phone and full time DSTV.
• Mountain Suite
  It is a one-bedroom suite with a King Size bed, a terrace viewing on gardens, shower, large living room with a fire place, direct dial phone and full time DSTV. This Suite is good for family outing where the young ones need to be just “not too close for comfort”, but nearby the parents.
