It is located along the Great Rift Valley in Bwindi and extends over a series of steep ridges. The lodge is part of the International Gorilla Conservation Program (IGCP) to protect the highly endangered mountain gorilla and the result of a working partnership between the Nkuringo communities.
Accommodation
Lodge is a new luxurious option in the southern part of Bwindi National Park. The lodge has ten stone cottages, each having a spacious bedroom, lounge area and an en suite bathroom with a shower. There is also a fireplace that links the bedroom and lounge to ensure that the rooms are kept warm in the cool evenings. At the lodge food is cooked using local produces.
